Recipes in Rhapsody
Recipes in Rhapsody is a compilation of favorite recipes from our finest and most
discriminating home chefs and area Cordon Bleu chefs. The 350 recipes are home cooked productions
and family favorites from Women’s Committee Members, their families and Symphony-Pops
Board of Directors. Many of the recipes are enriched with contributor notes regarding the
importance of the recipe to family and friends through the years.
This enormously popular event has become an anticipated community celebration, offering visitors a chance to view four distinctive homes in the Pasadena area, decorated for the holiday season by prominent floral designers such as Drew Domenghini, Ixora, Jacob Maarse and Leonora Moss. Tantalizing to elegant, inventive to endearing, the annual Holiday Look In home tour delivers visual delights and this year will be no exception. Of course, the entire event is a celebration of music! Musicians play in the homes and at our Boutique. Proceeds from this event are used to support the Pasadena Symphony’s annual concert series as well as many educational outreach and community engagement programs throughout southern California. Over its 42 years the event has raised over $2.5 million for The Pasadena Symphony Association.
